Cookie Policy

This policy explains how P2P Investitor (“we”, “us” or “the site”) uses cookies, browser storage and similar technologies on p2pinvestitor.eu.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on a computer, phone or other device when a website is visited. They can support essential functions, remember preferences, measure website use and enable advertising features.

Similar technologies, including browser local storage, may also be used. The site stores the visitor’s consent choice in local storage so the banner does not need to appear on every page.

2. Categories used by the site

2.1 Necessary functionality and security

These technologies support core site functions, security and the storage of consent preferences. They cannot be disabled through the consent panel where they are necessary for the requested service.

2.2 Analytics

Analytics tools help us understand which pages are visited and how the site is used so that content and navigation can be improved. Depending on the page and active configuration, the site may use Google Analytics or other traffic-measurement services.

Google’s privacy information: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

2.3 Advertising storage and personalisation

Advertising technologies may be used to measure campaign performance or personalise advertising where these services are active and the visitor has provided the relevant consent.

Google advertising settings: www.google.com/settings/ads.

How Google uses advertising technologies: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

3. Consent settings

On a first visit, the consent banner provides options to accept all optional categories, reject them or manage individual preferences.

For Google services, the site sets analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization to denied by default. These settings are updated only after the visitor makes a choice in the consent interface.

The consent choice is stored in the visitor’s browser. It can be reset by clearing the site’s cookies and local storage in the browser settings, after which the consent banner will appear again.

4. How to manage cookies

Most browsers allow visitors to block or delete cookies, restrict third-party cookies and receive a warning before storage is created. Blocking necessary storage may affect some site functions.

Browser controls operate separately from the consent panel and may override the choices made on the site.

5. Third-party services

External services and linked websites have their own privacy and cookie practices. P2P Investitor does not control storage created after a visitor follows a link to another website.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the site’s technology or services change. Material revisions will be published on this page.
